Nestled on the mountain immediately after you exit the Nat’l Park and just “up the hill” from downtown Gatlinburg on Ski Mountain Rd; Bear Moon Cabin is also just a short drive from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and many other Smoky Mountain destinations.
The decor adds to the charm and elegance of the cabin. The cabin is constructed of hand-hewn logs and features hand-carved wood trim, both inside and out. The three-levels of this well decorated cabin include a long list of comforts and amenities.
Two king size bedroom suites and a sleeper sofa will comfort you after those long days of hiking in the Smoky Mountains. Each bedroom suite has a walk out deck on its level, closet, 2 dressers, LED TV and attached ensuite, so unpack those clothes and make yourself at home.
The Living Room is home to a Queen sized sofa sleeper, a loveseat recliner, and a 40 inch LED TV and DVD. Off of the living room is a sitting area. Grab your favorite book and enjoy your surroundings. Free Wi-Fi is provided if you need to bring your work along with you, or just surf the net to check out all of the attractions that are nearby. You will find a fully stocked kitchen off the living room which includes all of the dishes and pots and pans needed to make a down-home meal.
The Living room boasts a wood fireplace to keep you warm on those chilly days and nights. Fireplace season begins Oct. 1 and ends March 1. Firewood is provided for this period of time only.
Entertainment options abound. A game room which includes a custom log pool table, foosball table, multicade, bar area, TV/DVD and stereo system will keep the kids as well as the adults happy. And after fter a full day of exploring the mountains, you will be excited to relax in our soothing hot tub.
